CHINAR has developed community homestays to diversify the income of the mountain communities. These homestays have been developed in Liti village of Bageshwar. CHINAR has received an award from Uttarakhand Tourism, UNDP, and PHD Chamber of Commerce, to develop this as a new tourist destination. Come to experience the traditional and ecological diversity of Himalaya.

Handicraft
CHINAR is promoting local mountain handicrafts like bamboo and woolen. Most of these handicrafts are prepared by women. These handicrafts range from bamboo mats, decorative items like lamps, etc., to woolen mats, carpets and blankets.
When you buy these products you help the mountain communities in improving their economic condition.
